Not at all. Many of our clients are wearing a wig for the first time. We provide illustrated guides, a tutorial video, and live virtual support so you feel confident at every step.

Every client begins with a private virtual consultation. We offer two tiers — the Signature ($150) and the VIP Elite ($350) — each a dedicated session where we understand your needs, answer your questions, and design around you. Your consultation fee is credited toward your wig purchase.

Yes. Our pieces are crafted with medical-grade, breathable cap constructions designed for comfort on sensitive or bare scalps. During your consultation we'll recommend the options best suited to your specific needs.

Absolutely. Beyond full wigs, we design hair toppers and pieces that add targeted volume and coverage, blended naturally with your existing hair.

That's our priority. We use premium 100% human hair and tailor texture, density, length, and color to you, so your piece looks, moves, and feels like your own hair.

Whenever feels right for you. Many clients find comfort in preparing before treatment begins, but there is no wrong time. We'll meet you wherever you are in your journey. This isn't medical advice — please consult your care team about timing related to your treatment.

We mail you a complimentary measuring kit with a soft tape, illustrated guide, and a link to our tutorial video. The measurements take only a few minutes, and you're welcome to do them live with us over video. Full details are on our How It Works page.

Because each piece is custom-made, please allow roughly 4–6 weeks from confirmed measurements to delivery. We'll keep you informed throughout, and we'll let you know if anything affects your timeline.

We confirm every measurement with you before your piece is crafted — and you can always book a quick video check so we get it right together. Getting your fit confident is part of our process.

Because each wig is made specifically to your measurements and specifications, custom pieces are final sale. This is exactly why we take such care to confirm your details beforehand and offer live support throughout — so your piece is right for you from the start. If something isn't as expected when it arrives, reach out right away and we'll do everything we can to make it right.

You pay Paris Hair MD the full price for your piece, and we provide an itemized superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. We do not bill insurance directly — reimbursement is paid by your insurer to you, after your purchase. Many medical wigs (often termed a "cranial prosthesis") may be eligible, and your deposit and payments may also be HSA/FSA-eligible. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend confirming details with your insurer in advance.

That's common — because our pieces are premium, custom medical wigs, insurers often reimburse only a portion. You are responsible for the full purchase price regardless of what your plan reimburses. Any reimbursement is paid to you by your insurer after your purchase; it does not reduce what you pay us. We provide the superbill to support whatever claim you choose to make.

A superbill is an itemized receipt with the codes and details insurers typically request for reimbursement. We prepare it for you after your purchase, and you submit it to your insurance or benefits administrator yourself.

No. We can't guarantee coverage or any specific amount, as it depends entirely on your individual plan. What we can do is make the process as smooth as possible by providing the proper documentation to support your claim.

Your piece arrives with detailed care instructions for washing, conditioning, and storage. With proper care, a quality human-hair piece can last a long time, and we're always here with guidance.

Yes. We offer ongoing styling, color, and refresh services so your piece can evolve with you over time. Just reach out and we'll arrange it.

We remain available for virtual support, adjustments guidance, and any questions that come up. You're never on your own after delivery.
